Queen Elizabeth’s Rare Bentley Goes On Sale For $250k

Fans who have an appreciation for fine cars can actually own one that was not only fit for a Queen, but was actually used by the Queen.

The very rare, dark green Bentley Mulsanne that was once owned by none other than Queen Elizabeth herself is set to go up on the auction block. The starting bid for the vehicle is a jaw-dropping $250,000, but that seems like a small price to pay for a true piece of Royal history. The Sun reports that this car was commissioned for use by the queen from 2013 to 2015, and since then it has not been actively used. Potential buyers are well aware of what a true honor it would be to own this impeccably historic vehicle and are eagerly anticipating the auction date.

Staying true to form as being a vehicle that was strictly used to transport the Queen, there are only 2,000 miles on the odometer of this stunning car.

According to The New York Post, the announcement released to present this car to the world stated; “It is with great pleasure that we are able to present to market a very special example of Bentley’s Mulsanne derivative. This Bernato Green motorcar was formerly owned by HM Queen Elizabeth II and was in service with the Royal Household from 2013 – 2015 with its exclusive use being to transport Her Majesty.”

Reserved only for the most appreciative collectors that have the extra $250,000 to invest in this fine machine, this very impressive Bentley is sure to land in the hands of someone that will appreciate the car’s true value.

Among the many special features of this car is the very rare Banarto Green exterior paint. The New York Post also indicates that the vehicle also features a “Twine Main Hide and complemented further by Burr Walnut Veneers to its trim and also the door panels.”

Of course, the car has been kept in immaculate condition, and it’s unlikely for anyone to find a vehicle of this age in condition as pristine as this.  The car is in original condition without tampering of the original design or mechanics, making it a true gem, worth every penny of it’s high price tag.

There has been no official word on the date or location of the auction, but fine car collectors across the globe are paying close attention to see who the lucky new owner of this prestigious vehicle will be and fans are curious to discover if it will be showcased or featured in some manner, keeping in the spirit of its historically profound roots.
