The 22-year-old model starred in the promotional video alongside fellow catwalk icons Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid and Elsa Hosk to promote what was to be a luxury music extravaganza held in Barbados, but it didn't go to plan and became the centre of a hit Netflix documentary.
The Fyre Festival promised a week of luxury but that was not the case when guests arrivedDespite the festival failing, with customers in uproar over not receiving the VIP treatment their thousand pound tickets included, the stars were still paid a generous sum.
Justin Bieber's wife has insisted she has not kept the payment, but instead donated it to a charity during her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Hailey did not disclose exactly how much she received, although she insisted it was a "generous" figure.
The beauty took part in the game Spill Your Guts, in which she had to answer fans questions or forfeit by eating a bull's penis, giant water scorpion, pig flesh meat jelly, a thousand-year-old egg or drink a sardine smoothie or bird's saliva.
Hailey insisted she has donated her payment for the festival to charityHost James Corden, 40, posed the question: "How much money did you get to appear in the Fyre Festival promo."
A nervous Hailey narrowly avoided sipping on the animal's spit as she coyly replied: "I am not going to share but it made for a very generous donation for charity."
James quizzed: "You gave the money away, after you saw how great it was", to which Hailey insisted: "Yes I did."
The answer got Hailey off the hook as James deemed her honest response "noble" enough not to need to forfeit.
