Bethenny Frankel’s ‘controversial’ 4,200 square foot Hamptons home sells for $2.28million

Bethenny Frankel is finally free of her ‘controversial’ Hamptons home.

The luxurious 4,200 square foot estate in Bridgehampton, New York was sold last Thursday for a whopping $2.28million.

The seven-bedroom property served as a major point of contention between herself and co-star Ramona Singer during season 10 of the Real Housewives Of New York.

Goodbye forever: Bethenny Frankel sold her home in Bridgehampton, New York last Thursday for $2.28 million

Investment: Frankel purchased the home back in 2017 for $2.03million as an investment opportunity; Bethenny was photographed on the carpet for the 71st Emmy Awards in Los Angeles in 2019

In 2017, Bethenny purchased the property, built in 1901, for $2.03million as an investment opportunity.

It featured enviably high ceilings and ‘plenty of windows’ that provided ‘natural lighting throughout,’ according to Us Weekly.

The estate, which offered abundant living space via its vast formal dining room and ‘oversized parlor’, came completely furnished.

The buyers, represented by Vincent Abbate of Nest Seekers International, were even gifted ‘a set of plush robes,’ upon purchasing the Hamptons home.

Drama alert: In 2017, when Bethenny origianlly purchased the home for $2.03million, her RHONY co-star Ramona Singer (left) thought it was a bad investment

Lots of history: The home was originally built in 1901

Lavish: The 4,600 square foot home features a large outdoor pool

Singer took issue with Frankel’s 2017 purchase of the house because she believed it was doomed to be a bad investment for Frankel.

Singer explained that though the listing stated the home was located ‘south of the highway,’ it actually resided ‘on Monatuak Highway,’ which is ‘the area’s main thoroughfare.’

‘In Southhampton or any of the Hamptons, south of the highway is preferred. Being on the highway is not south of the highway. It’s just not,’ remarked Singer during the premiere episode of RHONY season 10.

Perfect place to party: The backyard patio circles the entirety of the pool giving guests plenty of space to wander and hangout

Get comfy: The space features a ‘large lounge room’ that, like the rest of the house, came completely furnished

Something is cooking: The kitchen came complete with stainless steel appliances

Frankel attempted to defend the estate’s location, even showing Singer that the address was technically south of the highway.

In an attempt to ease tension, Singer backpedaled a bit and stated that she ‘personally’ would not be interested in the home.

‘Sorry, I’m sure it’s great, don’t get me wrong. You buy right, you price higher. As long as you buy it right, who gives a s—? Buy low, sell high. That’s it!’

Master bedroom: The 4,600 square foot estate featured a spacious master bedroom complete with windows overlooking the backyard

Let the light in: The entire home is provided with an abundance of natural light due to the vast windows that dress the property

Stylish: The 2.28million dollar estate came fully furnished

Bethenny fired back: ‘Great, glad we went through this little exercise. Now I got your approval, I feel much better now.’

Frankel then accused Singer of ‘being negative.’

Singer responded: ‘I wasn’t negative! I said is it north or south of Montauk Highway! Montauk Highway can be f***ing noisy, Bethenny!’

Modern: The master bathroom features micro-tiling on the walls, as well as marble counter tops

Bethenny believed that Singer’s lack of real estate knowledge made her ill equipped to weigh in on whether the home was a worthy investment for Frankel or not.

‘You don’t know real estate. You own an apartment and a house in the Hamptons. I own five properties as we speak. When you start being successful at something, call me back,’ yelled Frankel.

Bethenny announced her departure from the popular Bravo series last year.

Luxury: From the brushed silver hardware to the to the white tile detailing, the bathroom offered a modern feel
