When Gymboree went bankrupt last year and closed all of its stores, many parents mourned. It’s so hard to find affordable, cute, and well-made clothing for our littles, and Gymboree had long been our go-to. Fortunately, soon after the stores closed their doors, the owners of Children’s Place scooped up the brand. Today, a new (or resuscitated?) Gymboree is back, just in time for spring shopping!
As of Wednesday morning, you can shop for the brand online at Gymboree.com or in 200 Children’s Place stores across the country. In both places, you’ll find some very cute spring boys’ and girls’ clothes and accessories in sizes ranging from 12-18M to a youth size 8. They even have some very practical-but-adorable kids’ shoes. The first collections include casual play clothes as well as fancier items for Easter, Passover and other special occasions you’re looking forward to in warmer months. Here we’ve listed just a few of our faves.

Cherry Tiered Dress
Is it summer yet? Cherries and ruffles are classics we can’t resist.
Colorblock Oxford Button Up
Boys look so good in pink. Don’t they?
Playful Poppies Embroidered Top
And girls look great in black. Wish this came in women’s sizes too!
Plaid Button Up Shirt
This plaid number should please the more traditional types. It’s also priced low enough that we won’t worry if they wear it to the playground, too.
Dog Raglan Top
The wagging tongue, the old-fashioned baseball uniform — this cuteness is killing us. It’s part of an entire “Opening Day” collection.
Embroidered Shortalls
Denim never looked so darn edible. We love this combination of girly and tough, too.
Plaid Belted Chino Shorts
Mamas, it’s okay if your kids grow up to be preppies. If only because belted shorts look so good.
Cherry Headband
Gymboree is all about offering “bow-to-toe” options. Now we really know what they mean.
Windbreaker Jacket
The charm of this windbreaker is in the details. The plaid lining and colorful zippers make it so playful.
Embroidered Denim Jacket
Will this jean jacket eventually get real ice cream and cupcakes on it? Sure, and that’s just fine!
Boys Boat Shoes
These boat shoes are the perfect dress-up solution. They’re so reasonably priced, too!
Slip-on Cupcake Sneakers
Fancy cupcakes? Check. Something they can run around in? Double check.
