Jacqueline Jossa broke viewers' hearts last night when she branded herself a "doormat" in her I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here exit interview.
Oblivious to the fresh cheating claims facing husband Dan Osborne , she sobbed as she told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, "I've always been known as Lauren from EastEnders, or a doormat, or whatever you want to call it, and coming here I have actually proved myself."
Unbeknown to Jac, while she was in the jungle Chloe Ayling alleged she had a threesome with Dan and their Celebrity Big Brother co-star Natalie Nunn at the show's 2018 wrap party. He has vigorously denied it.
And today Jacqueline broke her silence to reassure fans she was "absolutely fine" after mysteriously cancelling all live TV interviews.
And it's not the first time she's been forced to address rumours about her husband's fidelity.
In 2015, Dan and model Teddy Edwardes denied engaging in a naked FaceTime chat after nude pictures surfaced online.
The images shared by Twitter user 'Celebrity Busted' showed the head, shoulders, chest and penis of a man with similar tattoos to Dan.
However, a spokesperson for the TOWIE star denied he was the man in the images, stating: “It is a complete fake, someone has superimposed that tattoo.
And that same year mother-of-one Sharn Alford and her friend Candace Evans claimed they caught Dan’s eye in Gallery nightclub in Maidstone, Kent, alleging Dan asked them to go to his hotel but they refused.
Dan denied it and Jacqueline, who had given birth to their daughter Ella, hit back insisting he slept in their bed at home that night.
Taking aim at his accusers on Twitter, she sniped, "To be fair, if this was true, which it's not as he came home to me, dear god, I would feel more sorry for him than me! #lookers."
In 2018 Dan walked out on his year-long marriage to a heavily-pregnant Jacqueline after returning from a boot camp in Majorca, where he was accused of hooking up with Love Island's Gabby Allen .
It was Gabby's then-boyfriend and fellow Islander Marcel Somerville who levied the affair claims, tweeting: "Unfortunately the allegations of Gabby cheating on me with Dan Osbourne were brought to my attention by a very very reliable source."
Both issued swift denials and Dan and Jacqueline eventually reunited following the birth of their 14-month-old daughter Mia.
But their marriage was rocked again when Dan was accused of locking lips with 2018 Love Island contestant Alexandra Cane, 27. He denied it.
According to reports, Jacqueline kicked Dan out. But she defended their marriage on Instagram when fans accused her of taking her wedding ring off.
"Why are some people so painfully stupid? I was wearing my wedding ring last night. My Insta stories I’m using the front camera… Tw**s!" she fumed.
Furious, the star then added: "Please leave me alone! Focus on what’s important!"
And Jacqueline recently admitted social media comments about the rumours only put more strain on her marriage.
"It causes a conflict between the two people because I’m then going, 'ugh, so frustrating, why don’t you just shut up?'" she told Harvey on his Team Harvey podcast earlier this year.
"If I could delete Instagram tomorrow I would, but I can’t," she added, admitting she needs the money.
"What do you want me to do? I don’t have a job, I’m the mother of two children and right now I’m making money through Instagram. But it’s a pool of negativity, it’s horrible, it’s awful."
Jacqueline did, however, admit their five-year union is a "work in progress", telling New! magazine: "We have always been [strong]. It’s hard to explain it because no one would understand until you’re living it.
"All I can say is that I know where I’m at and he knows where he’s at.
"It’s a work in progress and nothing is perfect."
Dan vehemently denies all cheating allegations against him – and sources told The Sun Jacqueline "loves him" and "won't leave him" unless she "catches him herself in bed with another woman."
Indeed, despite the turmoil, before going into the jungle Jacqueline said she would never regret meeting Dan and was determined to prove to the world that she's no "pushover".
“I feel I’m often the one that looks like I’m a victim a lot of the time. And I want to show that I’m actually really strong. And I know exactly what’s going on. I’m not stupid," she told The Sun.
“People think I am a pushover or a doormat. I also think some people pity me.
“I want to show I am fine, I am up for a laugh and that I will go for it and try my best. I don’t regret one second of getting with Daniel, which obviously heightened our relationship and heightened everybody’s interest in it. I guess it comes with the territory.”
