Start your engines as RuPaul’s Drag Race is finally coming to the UK, and is set to hit screens any day now.
It will be the first time the competition has crossed over to British shores, and will see ten incredible drag queens will aim to impress a panel of judges with their charm and talent.
The winner will be crowned ‘The Next Drag Superstar’ and will join the eleven past US winners in the Drag Race hall of fame.
The 10 drag queens taking part in the UK show have all been handpicked by RuPaul herself “for their huge slaying potential”.

When does RuPaul’s Drag Race UK start and how can I watch it?
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will hit our screens on October 3 at 8pm, and will air for eight episodes on BBC Three.
The show will be available to view on BBC iPlayer and will follow the original US show’s format.
The start date was confirmed in an Instagram post on the dragqueenukbbc page, with the caption: “IT'S OFFICIAL: @BBCThree's #DragRaceUK is coming out at 8pm on October 3rd and will be airing every week on BBC iPlayer.”
Fans were quick to realise the date is also known as “Mean Girls Day” in reference to the modern cult classic.
Who are this year’s Drag Queens?
This year’s contestants have been named as Baga Chipz, Blu Hydrangea, Crystal, Cheryl Hole, Divina De Campo, Gothy Kendoll, Sum Ting Wong, Scaredy Kat, The Vivienne and Vinegar Strokes.
Mama Ru said: “Each of the UK queens is so unique, so courageous and so special. I can't wait for the UK – and the world – to fall in love with them the same way I did.”
All 10 Queens took part in Manchester Pride on August 24 in what was their first official appearance for the show.
