Idris Elba will no longer be replacing Will Smith as Deadshot in the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel.
The 46-year-old actor will be taking on an entirely new role in the flick, according to Variety.

Sources say that all parties including director James Gunn decided to move on from the Deadshot character but have not revealed the new character Idris will play.
This now leaves Will the chance to return to the character in the future as his original reason for leaving the film was due to do scheduling and not creative differences.
Warner Bros. had no comment on the decision.
