Emmerdale viewers were sickened AGAIN tonight as David Metcalfe hinted at Maya Stepney sexually abusing his son.
David was just seconds away from catching his paedophile girlfriend snogging Jacob Gallagher when he unexpectedly returned home on Tuesday night's episode.
Angry Emmerdale fans blasted David for missing another opportunity to catch his paedophile girlfriend tonight.
Jacob returned from school and told his teacher that she looked "gorgeous" as she did her make-up for date night.
Grinning Maya replied: "Shush. Your dad is upstairs."
Jacob was crushed when Maya revealed was going to the council election hustings at The Woolpack with his dad.
David failed to hear them but asked Jacob if he had apologised to Tracy after his outburst.
When Jacob stormed off in a huff, Maya suggested she could stay and talk to him, as cover for wanting to spend some more alone time with the schoolboy.
Calling his son immature, David said: "Us grown ups need time alone."
But Maya was not impressed that he was taking her to the hustings at the pub.
She said: "It's not quite my idea of a romantic night in."
Not realising what he was hinting at, David replied: "And staying in alone with job is?"
Angry Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to blast David for missing another opportunity.
One viewer said: "Why doesn't david realise all these issues started since the peado arrived"
Another added: "Is David the thickest bloke in the entire world?!"
A third asked: "Can't David see what's happening?"
This comes after Emmerdale fans were disgusted by more sickening Maya Stepney scenes on Tuesday night.
However, those viewers that claimed they were switching off' missed a major twist when David returned home unepectedly.
The paedophile teacher started snogging Jacob on the sofa before pulling the schoolboy on top of her.
He rushed home and burst in through the door and viewers were convinced he would rumble the illicit affair.
They managed to stop kissing just in time because he called out first.
*Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7pm with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm
