For another week there was no change at the top of the College Football Playoff rankings released by the committee Tuesday.
The three remaining unbeatens from the Power Five – Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame – retained their respective position as they have done the previous two weeks.
Michigan also held down the fourth and final spot in the field as it has since moving up on Nov. 6.
Georgia maintained their place at No. 5, just outside one of the coveted positions. The Bulldogs, though, still have control of their playoff fate with Georgia Tech and Alabama up next on their schedule.
Oklahoma continues to stay at No. 6 even though the Sooners did not look spectacular against Kansas. LSU and Washington State again followed No. 7 and No. 8.
The Cougars have an opportunity to gain ground in the final two weeks, though with a game against No. 16 Washington and, if victorious, against No. 17 Utah in the Pac-12 title game.
