Over the years, she was seen in countless productions, but she is arguably most famous for her role as Jessica Fletcher in the TV series, Murder, She Wrote.

Along with acting in Murder, She Wrote, Lansbury also served as an executive producer for 88 episodes.

In 1971, she starred in the live-action animated musical movie Bedknobs And Broomsticks before appearing in a couple of Agatha Christie film adaptations, including playing Miss Marple in The Mirror Crack'd.

Lansbury went on to voice Mrs Potts in the animated version of Beauty And the Beast in 1991, as well as the Dowager Empress Marie in Anastasia (1997).

She also had a notable career on stage and won four Tony Awards for various roles, including Mame Dennis in 1966's Mame, and Mrs Lovett in 1979's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

In 2022, she received her fifth Tony for Lifetime Achievement.

In her nineties, she starred as Aunt March in the TV adaptation of Little Women and voiced Mayor McGerkle in The Grinch.

Lansbury was last seen on screens in 2018 in Mary Poppins Returns, and Buttons, A New Musical Film.

Lansbury was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II in 2014.

Angela was able to amass an extensive net worth over the years due to her successful career that spans more than eight decades.
