Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen opens up on ‘chaotic’ home life after split from husband Clive | The Sun

OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has opened up on her "chaotic" home life with nine kids.

The Channel 5 star, 47, who recently split from husband Clive, lives on Ravenseat Farm in North Yorkshire – and told how the solitary, rural surroundings are a complete contrast to the chaos.

Speaking at The Game Fair, the Yorkshire Shepherdess confessed: "My home life is busy and chaotic, but my work life is solitary.

"Too much of each one is not good, but living in a remote place gives me peace and quiet."

Amanda added of her surroundings: "You can lose yourself and distance yourself from everyone and everything.

"Once I go out of that door to work it is back to basics."

Last month, it was revealed Clive, 66, and Amanda's 21-year marriage had come to an end.

In a statement on Instagram, Amanda said: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate."

She continued: "This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family.

"Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.

"We would like to thank everyone for their support and would that the media please respect our privacy as we work through this difficult time."

The Sun first revealed their relationship had hit the rocks in October last year.

Family friends revealed the couple were battling to save their marriage – with mum-of-nine Amanda spending nights away from the family home.
