Gemma Collins has booked a boob job in a bid to help her get over her split with James Argent

A NEW haircut, getting drunk with your mates and signing up to Tinder are the go-to hacks for getting over a break up for most people but Gemma Collins has put a boob op top of her list.

In an exclusive interview, The GC, who dumped on-off lover James “Arg” Argent two weeks ago, has revealed she has booked a breast reduction op next month after shedding three stone.

She gave Arg the boot after he sent her a series of nasty messages, including jibes about the way she looked.

Now it’s not just him she’s getting off her chest.

Gemma said: “I can’t wait to get rid of these boobs, they’re massive and look ridiculous. I have never looked better than I do now and I’ve never felt so good.

“I know there are so many people out there who love big boobs and pay for surgeons to give them big boobs but I want them smaller.

“My boobs are all natural. I never have wanted surgery. But as my body is getting smaller, I feel like I am falling over on top and I just want them gone.”

Gemma’s role models include J-Lo and Jennifer Aniston, and she is planning on spending the rest of 2020 channelling her inner US A-lister, ahead of her 40th birthday in January.

She added: “I feel like I am going to be more confident in my forties than I ever was in my twenties.

"Jennifer Aniston, Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez, they are all amazing women, they look amazing and they’ve all been through it like me.

“J-Lo is my inspiration, she is fabulous and looks amazing. Every time I see a video of her dancing I think, ‘That’s going to be me in a few months’. So move over J-Lo, the GC is in town.”

Gemma, who found fame after jacking in her job as a car saleswoman and joining Towie in 2011, started to overhaul her lifestyle during her Dancing On Ice stint last year.

She said her weight loss, which she showed off on a beach in Tenerife this month, was down to a better diet and controversial skinny jabs.

The reality star was flown to the Canary Island by Wizz Air, the budget airline which has signed her to be the face of the brand.

The endorsement is one of many Gemma has lined up, and she can now command six-figure deals.

It is something she hopes will help her emulate another idol Madonna, and now newly-single Gemma wants a toyboy just like the Queen of Pop, who is dating dance Ahlamalik Williams, who is less than half her age.

Gemma said: “I want to be the Madonna of this generation. I love Madonna, the older she gets the younger her men get. That is amazing.

"She’s a woman who has never shrunk her- self to make men feel comfort able, she’s unapologetic and a hard worker. And she pays her own bills.

“She is an inspiration for me and so many women out there. I will never shrink myself to make others feel comfortable.

“I am more confident now and more self-assured. I am very comfortable with who I am. I feel like I am established in who I am now.

"No one else helped me get to where I am. It is just my self-belief and determination and hard work which got me where I am.”

Now Gemma is preparing to head back to work running her successful clothing business and starring in her reality series Diva.

But she has something far more important on her mind — a huge 40th birthday bash in Ibiza.

Gemma said: “Turning 40 is going to be amazing. I’ll be flying out by Wizz Air then hiring a yacht to sail to Leo’s Restaurant, which will be shut for my party.

“I would love to Kylie to play there. I’m not sure if she knows who The GC is so it could take some persuading.

“I feel I’ve got so much to look forward to. Lockdown put everything in perspective. I am in an amazing place, bring it on.”

Jossa's cossie is spot on

JACQUELINE Jossa has been making waves in the fashion industry, so it’s a good job she’s dressed for the beach.

The I’m A Celeb champ wore this polka dot one-piece to announce her new swimwear collection for In The Style.

Sharing the snap of herself modelling the item from her eight-piece collection, Jacqueline told her fans on Instagram: “This wasn’t something I did lightly but In The Style let me design the shapes I felt suited me.”

It’s great to see Jacqueline smiling again.

Last week her love-rat husband Dan Osborne admitted to playing away but insisted he’d made it up to the ex-EastEnders star.

I hope it stays that way.

Team want a holiday

THE debut album by Brit indie band Sports Team was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize on Thursday – and they’re already well on the way to releasing the follow-up.

And frontman Alex Rice said they are determined to rinse their record label for a trip abroad to record it following the nod for Deep Down Happy.

He told me: “I’m in the studio at the moment.

"We are trying to get album two down and finish the writing process for it. We want to record it abroad.

“Because the first one went quite well the label now seem prepared to pay for a bit of a trip if we can justify it.

“I know I’d never forgive myself if we didn’t do it somewhere beautiful. So we’re going to go away for a month and get a beautiful trip out of it.

"Hopefully the album will be out at the end of the year or early next year.”

He really is desperate for a free holiday.
