Coronation Street fans gripped as EVERYONE turns on Carla and her car window is smashed ahead of next week’s dramatic factory roof collapse

CORONATION Street fans were completely gripped by tonight’s hour long special as almost all the Weatherfield residents turned on Carla Connor.

The businesswoman – played by Alison King – is horrified when she discovers someone has thrown a brick through her window and she’s ominously told it could have been anyone.

As she looks at the car window, Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill), strolls over to her and tells her: “It could be anyone.

“It could be someone with a grudge against you, there’s plenty of them around here.”

She asks him: “What’s going on Robert, what do you want?”

He replies: “To see your whole world come crashing down.”

Those watching at home couldn’t get enough of the scenes and admitted they had no idea who was behind it and they couldn’t wait for next week’s dramatic episodes, which will see the factory roof collapse.

One person wrote: “Ooh, all those likely suspects.  #Corrie.”

A second remarked: “Battle lines are drawn! Grudges are held. Revenge will be sought….and the factory roof will fall! Roll on Monday's #Corrie!”

And a third added: “gonna be a right whodunnit next week  #corrie.”

So the last part basically showed the culprits of the roof collapse those who have a grudge against carla is going to cause a death #Corrie

OK WHO DUNNIT???????

The owner of the factory, Underworld, has been planning to make changes to the business by outsourcing production, much to the upset of her staff who are worried they may lose their job or suffer a pay cut.

Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) – who co-owns the business – let slip Carla's plans to his colleagues.

But Carla comes under fire from her team because of the scheduled changes.

The team are seen planning to do something to get back at Carla and hint they could go to prison for it.

Carla's business partner also has a vendetta against the beauty, after he finds out she is plotting to out him from the company.

Over recent weeks Carla and ex-husband Peter-Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) have been at loggerheads, after she covered up for Roy Cropper (David Neilson) after he set the building on fire while sleepwalking.

The pair attempt to put their past behind them as Peter comforts Carla after her nightmare day, but things backfire when she blames him for the feud with Nick.

Next week the roof of the company will collapse in a dramatic episode, but whether it was given a helping hand in caving in or a genuine structural flaw is questioned after tonight's programme.

In recent weeks Carla has made it known she has had issues with the building, as she previously roped in Gary Windass (Mikey North) to fix it.

But she turned down the offer to fix the ceiling as she thought the handyman was trying to con her out of money.
