It’s worth noting that you’ll need to sign up to a lengthy contract with these deals so make sure you pick the right plan before hitting the “buy” button.

They also don’t include any 5G data speeds so you’ll be stuck with standard 4G until the end of the 12 or 18-month term.

Although 5G is still in its infancy, things are improving for this ultimate smartphone signal and it’s worth thinking about making the switch in the future.

EE recently revealed that it is turning on these super-fast speeds in more places with another 14 areas now able to access the new speeds.

From this month, EE 5G rollout arrives in 14 new cities and towns across the UK including Liverpool, Glasgow, Guildford, Maidstone, Watford and Wolverhampton.

Speaking about the update, BT consumer division CEO Marc Allera said: “Switching on 5G in more places is helping us deliver the best mobile experience to our customers, keeping them connected to the things that matter most.”

EE Customers can enjoy 5G in the following cities and large towns today:

CITIES – London • Edinburgh • Birmingham • Belfast • Manchester • Cardiff • Bristol • Coventry • Leicester • Liverpool • Glasgow • Huddersfield
