It sounds wild (and it truly is), but in today’s day and age, some kids really are influencers from the moment they exit the womb and enter the world. While this is unlikely to happen for the everyday baby, children born to celebrities are thrust into the limelight before they take their first steps or say their first word — and this is in large part due to their famous parents.

In a time when social media serves as a connecting link between celebrities and non-famous folks, stars are sharing their lives on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok — and what they’re sharing isn’t only limited to their own life. Upon becoming parents, many celebs are creating Instagram accounts for their babies and toddlers. While some stars, like Jennifer Garner and Penelope Cruz, are vehemently against allowing their kids to use social media, other celebrities are all for their children having a presence on social media.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade run an Instagram account for their daughter, Kaavia James, which documents the “Shady Baby’s” most hilarious and adorable moments. The daughter of Hollywood and NBA royalty has nearly 2 million followers on the platform — and she’s not even 5 years old yet.
