After announcing the news she’s having a baby girl, Malin Andersson has revealed she won’t be making a birth plan.
The former Love Island star, 28, sadly lost her first baby daughter, who she named Consy, in 2019 after she arrived into the world seven weeks early. So Malin is understandably feeling apprehensive.
When asked if she has a plan in place, she told new!: “No, because of what happened before. Whatever is going to be, is going to be.”
However, Malin has ruled one thing out for certain, adding: “I definitely won’t be giving birth at home though.”
Opening up about having a girl in our exclusive gender reveal, Malin revealed she had a “gut feeling”.
“From the get-go I knew it was a girl, I had this gut feeling. So I was super happy. It just made sense to me,” she explained.
“I don’t know what it is but my family has really strong feminine energy and I just thought I was having a girl. To make it even more special, my new baby shares the same due date as my daughter Consy.”
Malin announced the news she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jared, who prefers to remain out of the limelight, in an Instagram post earlier this month.
“My next chapter. My new beginning. My happy ending. My entire universe. All mine,” she wrote alongside a snap of her blossoming bump.
“I can’t describe to you all how I feel writing this. Everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background – witnessed my life over the past 4 years and has stuck by me as a friend.. and now a lover.
"This couldn’t feel any more right – and we’re now bringing a beautiful soul into this world.
“My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong. It just wasn’t the right time. All the pain I’ve endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family.”
She added: “Mumma – I know you’re looking down with bright eyes and a big smile. Baby Consy – protect us from above. This is us now.”
She previously told OK!: “It feels surreal to be pregnant again, but I'm taking each day slowly and really enjoying and embracing each moment and milestone. I'm really loving the changes to my body. It feels like 'home'.”
