The 52-year-old recently spoke about their sleeping regime, and let slip that the pair have separate beds and bathrooms now their little ones have come along.
‘I have a separate bathroom to my wife on a separate floor now because she’s with the twins upstairs and I’m downstairs,’ he said on his show.
‘That will all change soon, but right now that’s where we are and so I have my own toothpaste, she has her own toothpaste.’
He added his wife is the one who is on provision duty, too: ‘Of course she buys all the toothpaste in our house because she does all that.’
Chris continued: ‘So I went upstairs and said, “May I please have a new tube of toothpaste.”
‘”What have you done with your other one?” [she said] I’m 52, I pay the mortgage…’
Last year Chris announced the arrival of his tots in a statement read out on his breakfast show, confirming both mum and babies were doing well.
‘Ping and Pong arrived safe and well last night. Ping popped her head out at 22.10, Pong popped his head out 12 minutes later,’ he shared.
‘Both healthy, both happy, strong and blessed, as was mum throughout. Infinite thanks to the amazing team at Frimley Park Hospital – amazing people, amazing professionals helping dreams come through.
‘Thank you, thank you, thank you.’
