Abbey Clancy recalls moment husband Peter ruined designer furniture in awkward moment

Abbey Clancy has recalled the moment her husband, former England footballer Peter Crouch, left “wine rings” on their designer table.

Abbey, who has also admitted that she’d never bought a drink until she met Peter, recently launched a podcast alongside her husband called The Therapy Crouch.

The couple looks to explore “the trials and tribulations experienced by us, and you, the listener, as we navigate our way through complex relationships.”

The A-list couple took to Instagram on Sunday to share a sneak peek from an upcoming episode that is set to release on Tuesday, January 24.

In the episode, Abbey, 37, said: “Our first house that we owned, which actually you picked, I don’t know how I allowed that to happen”

“That’s when I had balls. I’ve been fully castrated,” Peter, 41, laughed to which Abbey responded, “I came home to Pete and his d**k mate drinking red wine with the glasses on the table which left red wine rings.”

She added: “And they were putting this picture up on the wall wonky and it was of three pears, three lime green pears.”

Peter then revealed that Abbey had shouted at him and his friend and said: “You’ve put wine rings on my fendi table..

Abbey made her big break during cycle two of Britain’s Next Top Model, where she came in second.

Since her modelling days, she’s appeared on shows like Richard & Judy, The Chris Moyles Show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Good Morning Britain and This Morning.

While Abbey and Peter married back in 2011, the couple renewed their vows in the Maldives in December 2022 in a ceremony that included their kids, Sophia, 11; Liberty, seven; Johnny, five; and three year old Jack.

Abbey was pictured in a semi-sheer lace dress and accompanying veil as she clutched a bouquet of white roses.

"We started as a young couple together, and now here we are with our four kids walking us down the aisle. I feel like the luckiest person on earth,” Abbey told Hello! as Peter added, “To share this beautiful occasion with the family we created after all these years was really special. They loved it.”

Sharing an adorable loved-up snap of the pair kissing to Instagram, Abbey wrote: "We did it again. It was so special to have my kids family and best friends celebrate this day with us."

Many of the UK’s biggest celebrities wished the couple the best, with former Big Brother host Davina McCall penning: “Awww how lovely !!!!”

“Awww amazing,” wrote Holly Willoughby as Georgia Kousoulou added, “Aww beautiful."
