Young boy spotted smoking after being given cigarette by woman on London street

A small boy was spotted smoking on the street after being given a cigarette by a woman he was with.

In the shock footage, the woman on crutches can be seen puffing away as she stands with the boy and another woman sitting on a bench.

The boy, who is wearing a vest, jumps up and down before the older looking woman holds out her hand and he grabs the cigarette from her.

He then appears to puff as the woman berates him and tries to take it back from him.

The schoolboy then finishes smoking and throws it to the ground being stubbing it out with his shoe.

In the UK, it is illegal for an adult to buy under-18s cigarettes and police have a right to confiscate them from under-16s.

The video was filmed from inside the restaurant Tex Bites in Leytonstone, east London, last month.
