Alison Kiddle then decided it would be a sin not to share the hilarious coincidence share it with the world.
If you haven’t spotted it yet, the clue is in the title of two shops who come together to form the legendary pop duo.
The Pet Shop is in located on Station Road in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and the neighbouring department store is called Boyes.
The glorious coincidence was even noticed by the Pet Shop Boys – aka Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe – themselves.
Their official account retweeted the Alison’s post.
But despite coming to light in 2014, people are still finding it funny and it is trending once more.
Commenting on her post, Alison said: “Suddenly remembered the Pet Shop Boyes photo in the car this morning and started giggling uncontrollably.”
Others on social media have lapped up the genius snap.
