THREE people have been arrested following the sudden death of a woman.
A man and two women were taken into police custody after a woman, aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident took place around County Square, in the town of Ulverston in Cumbria.
A cordon remains in place as officers continue their enquiries into this incident.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch with officers.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what occurred or the moments leading up to it, as well as anyone else with information which may assist detectives.
