Three men arrested after being caught on camera abusing pro-Palestine protesters | The Sun

THREE men have been arrested over “racially aggravated” clashes with a pro-Palestine group holding a sit-in at London’s Waterloo Station.

A video went viral showing four-letter insults being hurled on Saturday.

It showed the ugly altercation as slurs like “terrorist c***” and “terrorist f****” were hurled before staff intervened around 5.30pm

Police yesterday visited Kevin Sweeney, 61, at his home West Molesey, Surrey, and were also seen at the home of Arsenal fan James Thomas, 33, in Christchurch, Dorset.

Police confirmed two men, aged 61 and 33, were in custody, plus a man, 57, from Surbiton, South West London.

A fourth man is sought.

Meanwhile, a woman seen waving a placard at a London rally on Saturday showing a swastika within the Star of David has been named as Kate Varnfield, 66 — a former Labour Party activist in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The 66-year-old – who once accused party chiefs of acting like the Third Reich – joined the Eastbourne Constituency Labour Party close to when Jeremy Corbyn became leader in 2015.

Her husband Terry, 73, bizarrely denied the sign was anti-Semitic – claiming the symbol means “peace and love”.

He said it is from Raelism, a “UFO religion” which claims an extraterrestrial species created humanity.
