An unhinged Bronx man launched an attack on his family Friday morning — burning his 2-month-old grandson and his two teenage children with hot oil before setting a fire in their apartment, cops said.
Ricardo McDonald, 41, got into a fight with his 19-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son at about 10:30 a.m. in their Wakefield apartment on East 236th Street near Furman Avenue, according to police.
McDonald then poured burning hot oil on all three of them, cops said. The 2-month-old was burned on his body and face, while the teens were seared on their arms, backs and legs, cops said.
The dad was arrested and charged with five counts of attempted murder, assault and arson.
