KEVIN Hart has left hospital nine days after his horror crash – but will need "round-the-clock" medical care for months.
The stricken US comic was "super eager" to be discharged after undergoing surgery in Los Angeles for severe back injuries.
Pals earlier revealed he was "chomping at the bit" to get back to full health as soon as possible.
However, he will still need to wear a back brace and will stay in a live-in rehab facility while he completes his physical therapy, say the reports.
Sources told TMZ that the Ride Along star, 40, is taking short walks and can now even climb a few steps.
And despite his agonising pain, he is still said to be in a "pretty good spirits" as he continues his gruelling recovery for a broken back.
Hart was a passenger in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when it flipped off a highway in Malibu Hills – leaving him with three spinal fractures.
Pal Jared Black, 28, was driving the car – nicknamed "Menace" – and was airlifted to hospital after he was found trapped under its roof.
Amazingly, another friend Rebecca Broxterman, 31, escaped from the September 1 smash unharmed.
We told last week how the supercar was mysteriously missing vital safety features, according to car experts.
Multiple owners of car customising shops said it's "highly unusual" for cars with 720 horsepower to be outfitted without a five-point harness and a roll cage.
The expert car outfitters also said that had the features been in place, Hart could have been spared his horrific injuries.
TMZ reported that staff at one shop, Rad Rides By Troy, were "shocked" to learn Menace didn't have key safety features.

KEVIN Hart’s blue beauty is custom-made by Speedkore, based in Wisconsin, USA.
The high-powered vehicle is based around Plymouth’s third-generation Barracuda, recreating its classic styling with modern tech underneath.
Hart’s car has a Hellcat V-8 Hemi engine generating 720 bhp, propelling it from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
Its engine was also paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends its power to the rear wheels.
The interior was also completely redone, and its dashboard was given a retro feel, to keep the 1970s look.
At the time of the crash, a female friend dialled emergency services from Hart's home to report that the actor was seriously injured.
Describing his injuries, she said: “Something on his back is pulling out onto the side”.
In the call, which was made at 2.13am, the unknown caller said the crash had taken place just 20 minutes before she rang 911.
But police records show the smash, east of Cold Canyon road, had taken place closer to 1am.
Insiders said Hart first went home for medical treatment before he checked into a nearby hospital.
The driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
Hart had bought the car as a 40th birthday present for himself in July.
It's been reported he will need weeks of intensive physical therapy.
Kevin's wife Eniko said on her way to visit him in hospital following the crash that he is "going to be just fine."
