A MAN who won the lottery as a teen before blowing millions on holidays, hookers and cocaine parties has revealed he prefers working a regular job to living the high life.
Mickey Carroll, 40, dubbed the "Lotto Lout", was a bin man before he scooped £9,736,131 on the lottery in November 2002, age 19.
Mickey, who once bragged about sleeping with 4,000 women, ended up spending his fortune on drugs, booze and expensive gold chains before declaring himself bankrupt in 2013.
Since then he's worked in a biscuit factory, a slaughterhouse, as a coalman and in a quarry.
But rather than feeling depressed about frittering away his cash and having to get back to work, Mickey, who now lives in a one-bed flat in Elgin, Scotland, says he couldn't be happier.
"People at work can't understand why I'm so happy," he told The Sun.

"People say, 'Aren't you sad you lost all that money?'
"But I didn't lose it, I spent it.
"I never regret it. Even when I have to get up and go to work I don't think 'Oh I wish I was going partying now' because I had ten years of that.
"See with work I actually really enjoy it, I really do, I can't explain it.

"People say 'No you can't enjoy it better' but I do."
Mickey admits he lived his life to the full and used to love splashing the cash on having a good time with his pals.
"I spent loads of money on my friends. Holidays, gold chains, partying, all that," he said.
"A few of them have come to see me since I've been up there but yeah there was a few people who were hanging round me just for the money, definitely.
"But I don't care, I don't get upset, I had a good time, they had a good time."
Mickey's wild lifestyle landed him in trouble with the police countless times. He made more than 30 court appearances and served three prison sentences for crimes including drug possession, dangerous driving and affray.
However, he says he has turned his back on his hellraising days, and claims he is now a "law-abiding citizen".
"The only thing I should have done back in the day is having something to do, like a job," Mickey said.
"Because you party every day of the week, there's only so many places you can go around the world, where you're allowed.
"That's why I ended up getting into trouble, I had no purpose."
Mickey said even if he won the lottery again he'd carry on working.
And he doesn't even wish he'd left some money saved away for his five kids – two daughters and three stepdaughters, aged between seven and 20.
"My kids will have to work for what they get," he said.
" I worked all my life before I won. Even when I was at school I used to bunk off and I'd be on the strawberry field with my mum and nan.
"Any one of my bosses will tell you how hard I graft.
"I was at Walker's biscuit factory for seven months and when I left there I was at the slaughterhouse for six years until they closed. I rose to the top there and loved it.

"I was at the coal delivery for two years and I've been at the quarry for three years.
"I'm a yard foreman so I'm operating heavy machinery and stuff."
