THE Twitter account of Brighton has mysteriously been deactivated.

And it has left fans making the same joke.

When attempting to find the club's Twitter page, the handle @OfficialBHAFC apparently does not exist.

And after another huge purchase from the club, fans have joked that Chelsea have added another piece of Brighton to their club.

One fan said: "Chelsea even buying Brighton’s twitter now 😭."

A second wrote: "[Todd] Boehly bought Brighton Twitter 😂."
