Grandparents perform their own adorable rendition of the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge featuring a motorized scooter

These cool grandparents have proven that age really doesn’t matter when it comes to taking part in viral social media challenges and having fun.

Bob and Ruth Reynolds, from Commerce, Georgia, absolutely nailed the ‘In My Feelings’ dance challenge that has been sweeping the internet.   

Proud granddaughter Nikki Dotson shared an adorable video of her grandparents dancing to Drake’s song on August 5.

In the 23 second clip her fun-loving grandparents can be seen shaking their stuff and cracking up with laughter after a sensational chest bump.  

Bob and Ruth Reynolds from Commerce, Georgia took on the In My Feelings challenge with a twist – by jumping off the 75-year-old’s motorized scooter

Nikki’s 75-year-old grandfather drives a motorized scooter alongside his dancing wife, before hopping out and taking part with an impressive hip shimmy. 

He then turns towards Ruth, who stopped counting her age at 55, as she beckons him closer and they keep on dancing along to the music together.

The video ends with Bob swinging his hips and getting a chest bump from smiling Ruth.

Granddaughter Nikki, who lives almost five hours away in Nashville, Tennessee, said her grandparents are no strangers to goofing around and having a laugh.

She said: ‘Prank wars are a fairly regular occurrence in their household.

‘They’ve put pop-its under the toilet seats and tied off to the dining room chairs, food coloring in toothpaste and nerf attacks. Basically if you can think of it, they’ve tried it on us.

‘My sisters and I had the pleasure of them raising us so they’ve definitely given us a prime example of  how to relax, have fun and enjoy life.’

All smiles the couple shimmy their hips and playfully dance together. Granddaughter Nikki Dotson who shared the video said her grandparents are always pranking each other and enjoying life

Nikki said her friends asked her to get her grandparents involved with this latest viral sensation after they made a whip and nae nae video a few years ago – Bob and Ruth were more than happy to deliver

This isn’t the first time Bob and Ruth have become internet sensations. 

Nikki said: ‘A few years back my grandparents had a whip and nae nae video that went viral. 

‘Whenever people started doing the In My Feelings challenge some of my friends tagged me in a video asking to have them do it. I went down to visit over the weekend and they were so ready for it. 

‘Now Nana’s chanting Ellen and poor Papa didn’t know what he was getting himself into with that chest bump and hip swing.’ 

The In My Feelings or KiKi Challenge, was started by Instagram comedian Shiggy and thousands more followed suit busting moves in time to the Drake track from newest album Scorpion.

Braver dancers have shaken their stuff while their cars are still moving making sure to hop back inside the vehicle before the end of the music.
