Donald Trump mocks Joe Biden for ‘spending all that money on PLASTIC SURGERY’ only to cover it with Covid face mask

DONALD Trump mocked mask-wearing Joe Biden by asking why he spent "all that money on plastic surgery" only to cover his face.

The president turned on his election rival as he addressed a crowd of his loyal supporters in Pennsylvania last night.

He targeted the Democrat on the day it was revealed 200,000 people have now been killed by the coronavirus in the US.

"I'll be honest, he feels good about that mask, and that's OK," Trump said of Biden.

However, he then added: "I mean honestly, what the hell did he spend all that money on the plastic surgery if he's going to cover it up with a mask."

The president's jibe brought cheers from those who gathered for the outdoor rally at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The president went on: "The question is will he leave it on during the debate?"

The White House rivals are due to meet next week for a presidential head-to-head in Cleveland, Ohio.

He then poked fun at Biden for sometimes letting his mask "hang down on his ear."

It's long been rumored Biden has had cosmetic surgery with some surgeons suggesting scars which run down the side of his face could be the result of a facelift.

They say the 77 year old began to look noticeably different during the 2008 campaign and also shortly before he launched his bid to become the Democratic presidential nominee last year.

New York-based cosmetic surgeon Dr. Arthur Perry described the size of one scar as "incredible", according to the Washington Examiner.

And other experts have claimed Biden turned back time with a hair transplant to portray a more youthful appearance.

As far back as 1987, a Washington Post reporter grilled him about having hair follicles grafted from the back of his head to fill in the increasing gaps at the front.

Biden merely shrugged off the question, replying: "Guess. I've got to keep some mystery in my life."

And it isnot the first time Trump has mocked Biden over wearing a mask – even though experts say they can prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Trump retweeted a photo of Biden in a mask posted by Fox News commentator Brit Hume in May.

"This might help explain why Trump doesn’t like to wear a mask in public. Biden today," Hume wrote.

Trump retweeted the comment just hours after he attended Memorial Day services – without a mask.

Biden's campaign team have not responded to the claims about plastic surgery.

During last night

s speech, Trump also told supporters to “watch the abuse” his nominee for the Supreme Court would take after he releases her name.

He confirmed he would release his pick to fill the seat vacated following the death of late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Saturday.

“Watch the abuse she will take, whoever it’s going to be," he said.

Trump added that he’d had “tremendous Republican support" for his potential nominee despite Democratic cries to leave the seat open until after the election.

He thanked Senator Mitt Romney, R-Utah, for expressing support in moving forward with a Trump nominee to the court, noting that Romney had voted to impeach the president on one of two counts.

“Thank you Mitt, he was good today," Trump said. "Now I’m happy."

Trump yesterday defended overseeing the world’s highest coronavirus death toll, saying 200,000 Americans amounted to "doing it right" because the mortality rate could potentially have been far higher.

Speaking to reporters on the White House lawn before jetting out for Pennsylvania initially refused to answer questions over the country’s latest deadly milestone.

However, he then said: “I think it’s a shame. I think if we didn’t do it properly and do it right you’d have two and half million deaths… China should have stopped it… I think it’s a horrible thing.”
