The Tesla Model X may be one of the most environmentally friendly ways to transport your kids or yourself -but don’t take your eyes off its wing doors.
That’s what one mother did and the moment was caught on camera.
The video was uploaded by Meg Jensen, of Salt Lake City, Utah, last week with the caption: ‘My mom in her Tesla X vs. the Garage… Which will win? Caught on Nest cam security.’
The woman, who driving toting three children in her vehicle, stops briefly outside her home to let the girls out of the car.

Perhaps it’s the way the one dashed off so quickly that distracted her or maybe she simply forgot about its wing doors.
Either way, as she pulled into the garage, this beautiful white car got its door clipped.
The Model X may feature all-wheel drive, seat up to seven and offer over 300 miles of driving range, but it definitely didn’t offer the mom any protection in this case.
Given the hefty price tag associated with the model – upwards of $80,000 for a 2019 model – it’s certain to be a mistake this mom won’t soon forget.
