The unknown male's voice could be heard at the end of a press conference where seven MPs revealed they were leaving the party and forming a new group.
Labour is in crisis today after a group led by Chuka Umunna announced they were walking out at an event in Central London.
They said the party's failure to battle Brexit properly or tackle anti-Semitism in their ranks had forced them to quit the party they've been members of for years.
But at the end of the BBC's coverage someone in the background was overheard speaking on the feed.
A male's voice said: "Between this and Brexit, we're actually f***ed!"
Elsewhere in the feed a voice also said: "This is mad" and mutterings can be heard as the mic picked up the whispers.
And Brits took to social media to make fun of the Labour revelations this morning.
The other MPs involved in the split, Luciana Berger, Chris Leslie, Angela Smith, Mike Gapes, Ann Coffey and Gavin Shuker.
They are forming a new grouping in the House of Commons called "The Independent Group" – but fell short of creating a whole new political party.
Ms Berger, the Jewish MP who has faced a torrent of abuse from far-left activists, said: "I cannot remain in a party that I have today come to the sickening conclusion is institutionally anti-Semitic."
Mr Leslie, the former Shadow Chancellor, added: "We can no longer knock on doors and support a government led by Jeremy Corbyn and the team around him."
He said: "This has not been an easy decision for any of us. We have all been Labour MPs for years. But the Labour party we joined is no longer today's Labour party."
