Will Smith, 'Aladdin' Cast and James Corden Take Over Beverly Boulevard with Epic Crosswalk Musical Performance

Watch as Will and the gang perform an elaborate, fire-shooting rendition of “Friend Like Me,” leaving onlookers confused and likely peeved about the holdup.

The only time a Los Angeles driver enjoys traffic is when it’s caused by James Corden and his over-the-top "Late Late Show" segment, "Crosswalk the Musical."

On Friday morning, the comedian unveiled his latest rendition of the outdoor performance, featuring Will Smith and his "Aladdin" co-stars, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud.

Poor Corden makes the fatal assumption he gets to play Genie, but when Will — the rightful Genie — shows up, the comedian’s left to play the monkey, Abu.

As the colorfully dressed cast prepares to recreate the magical Disney tale in the middle of a Beverly Boulevard crosswalk, Corden says, "Before we get out there on this magic carpet ride, I just wanted to remind everybody that ‘Don’t you dare close your eyes’ is not just a wonderful lyric; it could also save your life. The traffic is real, and it’s dangerous."

And with that, James, Will and the gang performed an elaborate, fire-shooting rendition of "Friend Like Me," leaving onlookers confused and likely peeved about the holdup. Will and Co. also take on "Prince Ali" and "A Whole New World," which involves an actual forklift, because of course.

Enjoy all of this and more in the video below.

The live-action remake of "Aladdin" is in theaters now.
