AFTER a turbulent few years in the cobbles, Kelly Neelan is set to exit Weatherfield.
Coronation Street star Millie Gibson has reportedly quit the show. Here's what you need to know.
Why has Millie Gibson quit Corrie?
2022 has been an eventful for year for the ITV soap as comings and goings on the cobbles have become more frequent.
Much like Imran Habeeb actor Charlie De Melo (her former on-screen foster father) and Melanie Hill, 18-year-old Millie will be turning away from the Street.
The young soap star has been known to portray wayward teen Kelly Neelan.
Reasons for her departure have yet to be revealed but she could be trying to focus on new projects.

The Sun has previously reported her exit is scheduled for autumn.
While she became a favourite among soap fans since her first appearance in 2019, Kelly suffered a huge amount while in Weatherfield.
Her father Rick was most notably murdered by Gary Windass (played by Mikey North) after terrorising Corrie residents.
She was then involved in a shocking hate crime plot which led to the death of Seb Franklin – a murder she was convicted for.

But new evidence soon emerged and she was acquitted while the real culprit, Corey Brent, was brought to justice.
Kelly has been seen struggling with drugs and living in the rough but she finally found a safe haven when Imran Habeeb and his then-partner Toyah Battersby took her in.
As they were trying to adopt and build a family together, Kelly had no other choice but to live somewhere else and she found a new home with Maria Connor… and her husband Gary Windass.
In more recent months, Kelly has been putting her life back together but her mother's death from cancer has been particularly hard to handle.
She was also kidnapped and saved by Gary – although appears to slowly become suspicious of his behaviour after watching him almost killing a man.

What will happen to Kelly Neelan?
An insider has made it clear to The Sun – Kelly's exit is likely to be just as explosive as her years in Coronation Street.
According to the source, Corrie bosses aren't ruling out a dramatic on-screen death for Millie's exit.
"Millie's a huge talent", the insider said.
"She has loved her time on the soap but there’s a lot of excitement about what she’s going to do next."
“Everyone has been sworn to secrecy over her exit storyline."
"It’s going to be explosive."
"Millie’s not even telling people if the door has been left open for her."
While the circumstances of her last appearance will remain a mystery before airing on screens, the insider has claimed it could have a link to Gary.
Fans have been wondering if Kelly will ever find out the truth about her father's death and the source has teased it could be part of the twist leading up to her departure.
"Gary’s managed to keep his involvement in the death secret, but it looks like Kelly will finally discover the truth", the source added.
Kelly is, according to spoilers, set to try and help her friend Stu Carpenter get over being rejected by his family and love interest Yasmeen Nazir.
Should viewers expect the unexpected?
What other TV shows has Millie been in?
With her time in Corrie drawing to a close, Millie has to think of what other projects she'd like to dig into.
But her fans can rest assured – she'll most definitely bounce back as she's far from a newbie in showbiz.
In fact, the young actress has starred in two other TV shows before winding up in the cobbles.
Two years before her Coronation Street debut, she appeared in one episode of the BBC One drama series Love, Lies and Records as a character called Mia.
In 2018, she was then seen in three episodes of the mini series Butterfly, which aired on ITV.
The show focused on a trans girl called Maxine Duffy who was coming to terms with her gender identity.
Millie slipped into the skin of Maxine's sister Lily who, initially, looks out for her in school before feeling increasingly unloved as Maxine becomes the main focus of all the attention.
