THE Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leanne Brown claimed that her feud with Dawn Ward drove her to the point of a nervous breakdown.
Having allegedly never received the half-a-million loan she gave Dawn, she has finally decided to give up the thought of ever getting it back.
Why did Leanne Brown and Dawn Ward fall out?
Leanne and Wes, called in lawyers after they were owed a £500,000 loan that Dawn and her husband Ashley, had allegedly not repaid.
The feud led to Leanne, who starred alongside Dawn in Real Housewives of Cheshire, to quit the show in 2018.
She told The Sun during the time of the fallout: "Our friendship has gone down the pan. I won't ever speak to Dawn again.
Adding: "I don't trust her and, when someone has hurt you that deep, there is no going back."
"It was very upsetting- and still is now. It has made me grow so much as a person, and now, I have had the strength to come away from the relationship and build myself back up again."
The mother-of-three admitted she'd resorted to treatments to recover from the drama: "I've had therapy and I have tried crystal healing. I do meditation as much as I can and have hypnotherapy.
However, six years later from when she gave the loan, she has now given up on the idea that she will ever receive it.
A friend of hers said:“She’s written off the money – effectively kissed goodbye to £500,000.
“It’s been very hard for her to do but for the sake of her well-being she’s let it go.
“She knows she’s the better person in all of this and so do all the people around her.”
