Who is Lost Voice Guy?

Lost Voice Guy (Lee Ridley), 38, is a stand up comedian from Newcastle.

He suffers from neurological condition cerebral palsy which means he can't speak.

Instead he pre-records his routines and plays them via a voice synthesizer on a tablet.

Before becoming a comedian full time in 2015 he worked as an online content manager for Sunderland Council.

What happened in the Britain’s Got Talent 2018 final?

Lost Voice Guy was crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2018 after wowing fans with his comedy routines.

He beat 10 other acts to scoop the top prize of £250,000.

Runner-up Robert White was gracious in defeat as he explained he was giving up comedy to take up teaching full time.

Donchez Dacres came in third place and thanked the viewers for voting for him before giving us another little Wiggle Wine.

Following his crowning moment, Lee took to the stage for a final time saying he had been blown away by the support.

He went on to perform at the Royal Variety Show in front of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

What else has Lost Voice Guy done?

Lee started performing comedy in 2012 after he met Ross Noble after a gig.

He told him that he could better his impersonation of the late Stephen Hawking.

In 2014 he won the BBC New Comedy Award.

He was also commissioned to write the sitcom Ability for BBC Radio 4 which is set to air in 2018.

Lee has played gigs across the UK at various venues including The Stand, Glee Club and The Comedy Store.

In 2o13 he performed his first solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has returned every year since.

In 2019 his first book ' I'm Only In It For The Parking' was published.
