Jack Fincham reveals Danny Dyer hasn't spoken to him since split with daughter Dani and rules out reunion with Love Island star

JACK Fincham has revealed that Danny Dyer hasn't spoken to him since he split with the actor's daughter, Dani, as he ruled out a reunion with his Love Island ex.

The 27-year-old star made his first television appearance since announcing the break-up earlier this month, insisting that he and Dani are still friends on Good Morning Britain today.

When asked by hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway if he'd heard from EastEnders' hardman Danny since calling time on his and Dani's romance, Jack admitted that he hadn't.

He said: "I haven't spoken to him – but everything is all on good terms.

"It's just a shame."

The reality TV star went on to add that he will "always have love" for 22-year-old Dani, explaining: "I'm always going to have a lot of love for her, we are on good terms, it's just life.

"It just didn't work out but I wish her all the best and I really want her to be happy.

"There's a lot of feelings there, we have been through a lot together and I just want what's best for her."

However, when quizzed on whether there was hope for a reunion, Jack replied: "I don't think so."

The Love Island hunk also hit back at claims that he and Dani were only ever together for publicity, defiantly insisting: "I can honestly say, never, ever, ever would I do anything for show like that.

"I haven't got the heart for it, I would get too upset."

Jack announced that he and Dani had split on his social media page at the start of the month.

Writing on his Instagram Story, the star explained: "There is no easy way to say this and it isn't going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore.

"We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.

"We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things aren't meant to be and we really did try to make it work but it unfortunately didn't and that is life.

"That's all I have to say, a break up is hard enough as it is for both of us let alone in public eye so I hope everyone is considerate and understands this. X."

The Sun Online then revealed that the pair had actually called time on their romance five days earlier, with the timing of the shock announcement raising eyebrows as it coincided with the release of Dani's memoir, What Would Dani Do?.

However, the brunette beauty denied claims that it was a publicity stunt, saying on Build LDN: "Publicity stunt? I would rather be with someone than be going on a book tour.

"There is never a right time for a break-up. [There's] always going to be something – Easter, a birthday, Christmas – it's just happened.

"Obviously it's one of those things. It didn't work out. It will be fine."
