It’s a big week in Emmerdale as all the missing pieces from the Big Night Out finally fall into place.
Not only will viewers find out what happened with paedophile teacher Maya Stepney when she was dragged off to the woods by a vengeful Leyla Harding, but the mystery of who stabbed Ellis Chapman will also be revealed.
Ellis was rushed to hospital after being stabbed outside the nightclub the villagers were at.
The prime suspect of the attack was Billy Fletcher’s dodgy gangster mate Max who was out for revenge after being let down on a robbery by Billy.
Max had been seen stalking Ellis, after promising Billy he would get his own back on him by targeting his family.
He also sent Billy creepy photos of his brother, warning him that he meant his threats.
The chilling shots sent Billy rushing to the club, but things didn’t quite go to plan and he and Ellis ended up having a furious showdown.
It was also revealed that Billy had a knife tucked into his sock, just in case things with Max kicked off.
Max was arrested for the stabbing but was released when it was revealed he had a solid alibi for when Ellis was stabbed.
So who was it? Could it really have been Billy?
All the evidence is certainly pointing at Billy, but is it just too easy? Could Billy actually be covering for someone else altogether?
Whatever happens, Billy decides its best that he leaves the village, but as he attempts to do a runner – which will obviously make him look guilty – he runs into Aaron Dingle and the two have a surprising heart-to-heart.
Aaron and Billy were in prison together and didn’t get on with Billy being part of a gang who made Aaron’s life a misery inside.
