Who is presenting Dancing On Ice 2019?

Here is everything you need to know about whether Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield – who presented the reboot – will also be returning and who's joining them backstage?

Who are the hosts and the judges for Dancing On Ice?

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be returning to host the popular show.

Speaking on This Morning, Phillip said: "We can exclusively reveal that our other show, Dancing On Ice has been re-booked, recommissioned for another series so we will be back next year."

The judging panel is also unchanged with the regular line-up of skating champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean alongside Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.

The location of the show has also moved as it is now based at Bovingdon Airfield in Hemel Hempstead – although there are rumours that the studio is haunted.

What about the backstage rink?

The show has gone through a bit of a shakeup backstage as Ashley's brother Jordan Banjo will not be returning to host the backstage segment.

“Jordan was brilliant, but there have been changes to his schedule that mean he’s unavailable to film next year, so he’ll be axed from the format,” says the source.

Ale Izquierdo, who skated with Max Evans in this year’s show, won't return, neither will Melody Le Moal, who was partnered with Lemar.

“Show bosses are bringing in new professionals to shake things up.”

Who is the new Dancing on Ice head coach?

Karen Barber has landed the role of head coach and will be reunited with Jason Gardiner seven years after their heated on-air row.

A source said: “There is no love lost between the two of them, and there’s bound to be fireworks. In the past, he’s reduced her to tears.”

A start date for Dancing On Ice 2019 has not been officially announced however the full line-up has been confirmed including the likes of Gemma Collins and Wes Nelson.

Last year, former X-Factor singer and reality star Jake Quickenden won with professional partner Vanessa Bauer.
