When does The Voice 2019 start on ITV?

An exact date has not yet been confirmed but The Voice 2019 will start some time in January.

It's likely to be at the start of the month – the 2018 series started on January 6 and the 2017 series started on January 7.

The format of the show is that contestants take part in blind auditions and the judges spin round in their chairs if they want to mentor them.

This year for the first time, trios will be allowed to enter the competition as well as solo artists and duos.

Who are the judges of The Voice 2019?

The 2019 series of The Voice will see the return of the usual coaching panel.

Olly Murs, will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones will be back to find the next singing star.

Olly said: "…Last year I managed to get seduced and picked some entertaining performers.

"The other coaches might think they have worked me out but I’m coming back with a bang, just you wait!”

Jennifer added: “I'm so happy to be re-joining my coaches at The Voice UK. I’m ready and excited to discover some beautiful voices.”

In 2018 Tom Jones mentored the winner Ruti Olajugbagbe.

Who is hosting The Voice 2019?

Emma Willis will return to host the show in 2019.

She has previously presented Celebrity Big Brother, Big Brother and The Voice Kids.

On the new series she said: "I’m so happy we’re about to get going all over again.

"I’ve learnt to expect the unexpected with performances, some make me wanna bust a move, some give me goosebumps, and some make me cry like a baby!"
