‘The View’ Brings Back Iconic Former Co-Hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Star Jones and Meredith Vieira

The former co-hosts are set to make their return on separate dates throughout the month of February to commemorate the talk show’s landmark 25th season.

AceShowbiz -Some familiar faces will be returning to “The View“. According to a new report on Thursday, January 27, former co-hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Star Jones and Meredith Vieira will be joining the panel once again as guest hosts starting in February.

PEOPLE reports that the three women, who are among the show’s longest-running co-hosts, are set to make their return on separate dates throughout the month of February. Their return is to commemorate the series’ landmark 25th season.

Meredith and Star are among the original cast members who held a seat at the table on the show, which premiered in August 1997. Also among the original co-hosts is Joy Behar and Debbie Matenopoulus. Both Star and Meredith stayed with the show until their exit back in 2006 during its ninth season.

As for Elisabeth, she joined as co-host from 2003 until 2013. The TV personality, who established the conservative seat during her time on the show, made a brief return to the talk show in March 2020 for a guest appearance.

Star will be joining the current panel, which is made of Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Joy, in the February 4 episode of “The View”. Meanwhile, the dates for Meredith and Elisabeth’s return have yet to be announced.

In celebrating the show’s 25th season, the co-hosts had their first in-person reunion in September 2021 since the show went virtual in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, Joy told PEOPLE, “I can’t believe it’s 25 years. I’m still trying to finish a sentence I started in 1997!”

She continued, “You have a bunch of women who speak their minds and enjoy the blowback. That’s our stock-in-trade.”

“The View” airs on weekdays at 11 A.M. ET on ABC.
