The first season of Homeland premiered a decade ago, and the CIA series has attracted plenty of attention over the last 10 years.
First airing on 2 October 2011, the thrilling spy show follows a CIA officer with bipolar disorder called Carrie Mathison (Claire Daynes), and a trained Marines sniper called Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis).
The spine-tingling war drama unfolds as Mathison becomes convinced that Brody poses a threat to the United States after being held captive by al-Qaeda as a prisoner of war.
Brody was reported as missing in action since 2003 before being rescued from an enemy compound, and he is hailed as a war hero.
However, Carrie starts to suspect that he is plotting a lethal terrorist attack against the United States, believing that he has been turned by the enemy
The espionage show only finished last year as its eight and final season aired in April.
It racked up heaps of awards during its time, including Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards.
It even bagged itself some rather famous fans, with none other than former U.S. President Barack Obama known to be a fan of the show.
To celebrate 10 years since the show first aired in 2011, the Star has channeled its inner-spy in tracking down the original cast of the show to see where they went after Homeland ended.
Claire Danes – Carrie Mathison
Claire won two Emmy Awards for her role as CIA officer Carrie Mathison in Homeland.
Danes was already a big star before Homeland, having shot to fame in the 90s as an actress in the teen drama series, My So-Called Life.
She had already starred alongside Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio when she played Juliet Capulet in Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film adaption of Romeo & Juliet.

She kept herself busy during the filming of Homeland as she starred in a string of films during her ten-year stint – including As Cool as I Am (2013), Brigsby Bear (2017), and A Kid Like Jake (2018).
During that time, she worked with high-profile actors including Star Wars legend Mark Hamill, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg, and Priyanka Chopra.
Claire has been married to fellow actor Hugh Dancy since 2009 after meting him on the set of the film Evening in 2006.
The smitten couple announced their engagement in February 2009 and tied the knot in a secret ceremony that year in France.
They share their two sons, one who was born in 2012 and the other in 2018.
Damian Lewis – Nicholas Brody

Last year, he acted in Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-winning film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – where he worked alongside fellow A-Listers like Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt.
Tragedy hit earlier this year when Damien's wife, fellow actor and Peaky Blinders star Helen McCrory, died of cancer in April at the age of 52.
The couple had been married since July 2007 and shared a daughter, Manon, and a son, Gulliver.
McCrory passed away at her home in London on 16 April, and Damian revealed on Twitter that she had had died "peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family".

In September 2015, Baccarin revealed that she planned to marry her Gotham co-star Ben McKenzie after her divorce was completed – adding that she was pregnant with their child.
Their daughter was born in 2016, and the Homeland star announced her engagement in November 2016.

In fact, at one point his mental health got so bad that he was sectioned under the Mental Health Act and spent time in a psychiatric ward, being prescribed chlorpromazine, an antipsychotic drug.
Harewood took part in Soccer Aid 2018 as England's celebrity goalkeeper, and he managed to save two penalties during a tense penalty shootout, helping England to win the charity game.
