The Bay viewers convinced the kids are playing a dangerous game they can't get out of – and builder Vincent is behind it

THE Bay viewers are convinced the teens are playing a dangerous game they can't get out of – and builder Vincent is behind it.

In the second episode of the six-part drama, DS Lisa Armstrong's studious son Rob was seen agreeing to a dare sent via a group chat message from a mystery 'pal'.

Rob had to steal a bottle of vodka from a shop and film himself doing it, which he did successfully before posting the video to the chat room gang.

But the teen was soon asked if he wanted to do another dare, leaving viewers to think him and his school mates are playing a game that gets increasingly dangerous – and the consequences for failing or refusing even more extreme.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "So the kids are involved in a game they can’t get out of. Hence the shoplifting and filming."

Another added: "Is this a game being played by the teens?"

Other viewers believe builder Vincent is behind the game, after he was seen luring Rob's sister Abbie to his car and asking her to deliver a package to a school mate.

The envelope turned out to be stuffed with drugs, convincing viewers Vincent is more sinister than he seems.

One tweeted: "The builder guy is the chat room person from last week, setting kids challenges."

Another agreed, writing: "Got to be that builder giving the kids challenges #thebay."

A third wrote: "I’m scared for Lisa’s daughter why does she keep meeting this dodgy builder?! #TheBay."

Whether Vincent turns out to be behind the murder of Dylan and the disappearance of his twin sister Holly remains to be seen.

But viewers think the twins could have also been involved in the game, with dire consequences.
