Susanna Reid revealed her extremely bizarre drinking habit on Friday's episode of Good Morning Britain, as she said she has two drinks in the morning as her "taste changes".
The presenter explained to her co-hosts and to viewers that she enjoys a cup of tea alongside a cup of coffee simultaneously as she works her morning shift.
The 50-year-old could be seen telling ITV viewers: "One is tea and one if coffee because my tastes change throughout the morning."
The host held up two GMB mugs to prove to fans at home that she was being deadly serious about her weird revelation.
Sitting with Susanna was Lord Jeffrey Archer who chimed in to label her as "nutty".
The Lord said: "You're nutty."
The newest GMB host Richard Bacon then said: "That's fantastic."
Jeffrey then added: "I bet you didn't know that, did you?"
To which, Richard responded: "I didn't know that."
The official GMB Twitter account then shared the comical clip onto their feed urging fans to step forward with their morning drinking routines.
The account said: "The revelation of the morning @susannareid100 has a cup of coffee and tea in front of her because her tastes change throughout the morning! What's your morning drink of choice?"
Some fans agreed that it was a strange confession but others joined in the conversation by adding in their go-tos.
One said: "It's all about the caffeine intake with the early start."
Where another wrote: "Mine's tea! But must @susannareid100 read the news headlines with said cup in hand. Doesn’t look very professional."
A third jokingly penned: "I would drink anything to be with Susanna in the morning."
A fourth tweeted: "So she even pits drinks against each other as she sides with one then the other. Bit like her interviewing tech."
The coffee commotion comes after Susanna shared a personal message of thanks to a cherished co-worker in a heartfelt farewell to the ITV show’s boss Erron Gordon.
Erron announced on Thursday that he will be leaving the ITV breaking show at the end of this year.
Susanna tweeted to her more than 800,000 Twitter followers to thank him, after holding the position as series director of Good Morning Britain for seven years, and been with ITV for 13 years.
Susanna tweeted: “Our talented Director @errongordon is so good that when Renee Zellweger needed to cast a TV Director in Bridget Jones 3 she picked him.
“He’s been with @gmb since the start. He’s the best in the business. Congratulations on your new job Erron – we’ll miss you.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
