Strictly fans in tears as Aljaz Skorjanec surprises wife Janette Manrara for her birthday

Strictly Come Dancing pro Aljaz Skorjanec left fans in tears on Wednesday as he surprised wife Janette Manrara for her birthday on It Takes Two.

Janette, who turned 38 on 16 November, was treated by her husband, 31, co-stars and even her past celebrity dance partners in a sweet gesture from the BBC One show.

The pro and presenter was left speechless over the surprise as she received a video message from the likes of Peter Andre, Hrvy and Jake Wood, who were all paired with Janette when they appeared on Strictly.

And the surprises were far from over following the video message as Janette's husband Aljaz then appeared in the studio with a Harry Styles cake, which he hilariously replaced with his face.

He joked: "I have something to fix that, that's better… look, that's better. Sorry, Harry!"

After sweetly kissing her husband, Janette was left overwhelmed by the sweet gestures as she said: "Thank you guys so much, thank you, I love you all so much my It Takes Two family is the best family in the world, yay!"

Janette then took the icing figure of Aljaz as she held it on her shoulder and said: "My husband and I are going to do this one together. This is amazing, love you!"

Viewers were left teary over the heartwarming scenes as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: "Alijaz is here for Janette's birthday OMG how heartwarming. #ItTakesTwo #Strictly @JManrara @AljazSkorjanec," followed by heart and crying emojis.

A different account put "Janette and Aljaz really are adorable. #ItTakesTwo" to which another fan added: "Absolute couple goals".

Another follower commented: "I love seeing Janette and Aljâz together on TV. Too cute! Happy birthday @JManrara ! #ItTakesTwo."

It comes after Sara Davies broke down in tears on Monday's It Takes Two following her elimination from the show on Sunday's results episode as she admitted she feels "lost" without pro partner Aljaz and their daily routine.

Getting emotional, Sara said: "Do you know, I woke up this morning and I was just lost. I was just…

"We usually have our little routine. The alarm goes off at 5am, check my Instagram Stories, and he's put a little post on: 'Oh, he's woke up!'

"And then we meet at our own little studio, with our own set of keys, and I'd let us in, you [Aljaž], go and make us the coffees.

"I turn the glitterball on, even though we really didn't need a glitterball at 6am in the morning!

"But it just got us in the mood and it was just, those first few hours in the morning before the VT team turns up, it would just be us.

"We'd have this like intense learning, it was just a little bubble."

During Sunday's show, the duo found themselves in the dreaded dance off with Tilly Ramsay and her partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Sara hoped to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas, but was unfortunately sent home.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday with the results show airing on Sunday on BBC One.
