Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) have agreed to keep their relationship a secret in Coronation Street, fully aware if Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna) discovered they were back together, he’d make their lives hell.
With her marriage to Phill definitely over, Fiz is now facing the prospect of a complicated divorce.
When Tyrone returns from his break with Phill, he admits to Fiz that they’re no further forward as every time he tries to broach the subject of marriage, Phill became upset.
Later that day, Fiz and Tyrone decide to attend their first couples’ therapy session.
At the end of the week, Fiz confirms that she’s meeting Phill in the café as he’s promised to sign the annulment form today.
However, Fiz gets quite the shock when Phill asks her to go to a therapy session with him, and even more stunned when the therapist turns out to be the same one she’s seeing with Tyrone!
Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) then decides to have a chat with Phill, but he’s very distracted and realises he’s left his phone in the therapist office – which also happens to be the same room Tyrone and Fiz are currently in.
Suddenly, there’s a knock on the door and Phill appears, looking for his phone…but how will he react to find Fiz and Ty there?
Is this marriage aftermath about to get a whole lot worse?
