The songstress wowed in a red bathing suit in photos taken from her Fourth Of July trip to Lake Austin, Texas.

She pulled her blonde hair back with a striped hair tie and wore a large pair of white shades.
The slideshow captured all the fun to be had during her family’s fun-filled day on the water.
Whether the family was hanging out on the boat together or enjoying an array of water sports, there was something for everyone that day.

In April, the Open Book author revealed she gained and lost 100 pounds three times in her life following her three pregnancies with Maxwell, Ace and Birdie Mae.

At the time, the star credited her slimmer frame to a lot of ‘hard work, determination, and self love’ while sharing a photo of herself in a bikini.

In her memoir, Open Book, Jessica said she underwent two tummy tucks in 2015, but landed in the hospital for nine days after getting an infection following the second procedure.
‘I wanted to get rid of the stretch marks and loose skin left sagging from my back-to-back pregnancies,’ she recounted in her book. ‘I was so ashamed of my body at this point that I wouldn’t let Eric see me without a white T-shirt on.’
She continued: ‘But the second procedure led to complications: ‘I got an infection — colitis — and was vomiting so much I thought I was going to bust my sutures. … Doctors talked seriously about me needing a blood transfusion.’

Though she has had surgery, Jessica refuses to get Botox to stay looking young.
The musician uses red light therapy to help ‘tighten’ her skin, and says she doesn’t want to begin cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, because she doesn’t want to risk losing her ‘expressions’ in her face.
When asked about her beauty routine, the singer said: ‘I got really into red light therapy. I went down a rabbit hole on this amazing facialist and I was like, “Okay, I need something to tighten my skin, I just turned 40. I don’t want to get Botox, I like my expressions. That’s what makes me who I am.”‘
