Bethenny Frankel makes Dorinda Medley cry after bringing up the “RHONY” Season 10 episode where she called her “a drunk.”
Much of the back and forth that went on during the "Real Housewives of New York" Season 10 reunion occurred between former BFFs Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill, but it was Dorinda Medley who wound up in tears on Wednesday’s dramatic conclusion.
Bethenny and Carole spent a good chunk of Part 3 (and Parts 1 and 2) arguing over who had the more impressive résumé, who was the better friend, who was the bigger liar, who "changed" more and who took more jabs at the other.
Nothing was resolved, and the two did not reconcile. But when Andy Cohen asked each of the women about their biggest regret of the season, Bethenny took on a less aggressive tone.
She looked at Dorinda and said, "My biggest regret of the season is if I did say, ‘a drunk’ — because you and I heard it the same way when we saw it on TV — but if I called you ‘a drunk,’ I regret saying that to you on television."
"Thank you, Bethenny," Dorinda replied. "That actually means a lot."
"But I will say for the record, in the moment, we both heard it: ‘You’re drunk,’" Bethenny added. "But anyway, I own what was on the show, and that’s fine, and that’s my regret."
Andy then asked Dorinda about her biggest regret of the season, but she was so moved by Bethenny’s apology that she began to cry.
"Um, I think — that actually means a lot to me," she said with tears in her eyes, pointing at Bethenny. The rest of the ladies — even for that brief moment — all let their guards down and visibly felt for Dorinda.
"It’s so stupid — it’s at the end of the show," Dorinda said, wiping away tears and going in for a hug with Bethenny. "It means the world to me."
"I tried to be as compassionate as I could while I was there," Bethenny replied. "And I saw it, and I was like, ‘Oof,’ you know? I really did."
Dorinda tearfully asked Andy to skip her while she composed herself.
Tinsley Mortimer said she regretted yelling, "Shut your mouth and shut your f–king legs!" at her former BFF, Sonja Morgan. Sonja also regretted "opening that wound" with Tinsley.
Ramona Singer said she regretted posting to Instagram that photo of the ladies on their spa weekend because Luann de Lessep’s family didn’t know she had left rehab at that time. Ramona also said she regretted texting Lu’s ex-husband, Tom D’Agostino, about scoring an invite to his party.
Andy then asked Carole about her biggest regret, but before she could answer, he said, "That you told me I was full of shit?" Carole didn’t even remember saying that to him during Part 2. She laughed and then gave a long-winded explanation about how she regretted that she and Bethenny were never able to reconnect.
Andy then circled back to Dorinda, who said she had two regrets: one being her feud with Luann, and the other being the night she got blackout drunk and insulted Bethenny’s Puerto Rico hurricane relief partners.
"We have such a long history, and I love her and I didn’t mean to inflict the kind of pain I clearly did," Dorinda said regarding her drunken outburst toward Lu in Cartagena. "I do believe and pray that we’re able to get back together."
Regarding the explosive dinner with Bethenny, Dorinda maintained she "learned a lesson from it" and said "it won’t happen again."
