REAL Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward has broken her silence after she was cleared of hurling racist abuse at two Jewish brothers in a drunken rage.

The Wag, who is married to ex-Premier League footballer Ashley Ward, was accused of tearing into Jake and Sam Jacobs at London's Euston Station.

Ward, 48, was accused of yelling: "You Jewish c***. Why are you people always complaining? You fat p***k."

The businesswoman, whose daughter Taylor is married to Man City star Riyad Mahrez, was also accused of carrying cocaine in a cigarette packet.

Today the TV star took to Instagram to thank those who stood by her throughout the trial.

It reads: "I have some truly amazing friends and family, of differing race and religions, who have supported me without question and for all of them I will be eternally grateful.

"I was found guilty by 12 random conscientious jurors who left no stone unturned in their efforts to deliver justice."

She added: "I am still prone to tears and am crying as I write this post.

"I don't believe I will ever truly get over this."

The reality star finished the post by saying: "Anybody who remotely knows me knows I stand for equality of race, religion and sexuality and I will continue to live my life to these values and raise my children to do the same."

After the verdict yesterday she wept and told the jury: “Thank you so much.”

She later told The Sun: “This has been the most horrific situation I’ve ever been in. I’m so relieved it’s over. It’s been three years of absolute hell for my whole family.

“My husband has been a massive support this week and my legal team have been incredible.

“This was a very serious charge, but racism and drugs are two things I’m completely against.

“I’m eternally grateful to the jury that after a week of hearing everything, they knew I was telling the truth.

“I can’t wait to get home with my children, and hopefully get on with the rest of my life. I’m so happy and delighted.”

The court was told she had been "drinking heavily" on October 29, 2019, when the alleged racially-motivated attack unfolded.

Both brothers were querying why the trains were delayed when they were approached by Ward, who asked: "Why do you lot always complain", it was said.

Gregory Wedge, prosecuting, said: "At the time you might think why, but she was we now know was referring to their Jewish faith.

“They pretty much ignored it, but the altercation became violent, she became violent and called Jake a fat c*** and a Jewish p***k or words to that effect.

“During this argument or heated conversation, she slaps Jake Jacobs across the face.

“Both of them were upset by this incident and called the police and they subsequently arrested Mrs Ward.”

The court heard how Ward claimed the conversation was "friendly" and said the slap was a "playful tap on the face".

She also denied using the "racially aggravated words".

The celebrity interior designer insisted she had no idea the Jacobs brothers, along with Sam’s girlfriend Samantha Eisner, were Jewish.
