The mum-of-five has raised eyebrows her wild behaviour in recent weeks, and is now suspicious her exes are keeping tabs on her every move as part of a "plot" against her.
A source told The Sun Online: "Katie's been very vocal on social media about how she thinks her exes are out to get her, and she's getting very paranoid that they're spying on her.
"She gets convinced that someone is following her when she's out – maybe a private detective out to gather dirt on her – and is constantly checking to see who may be around her.
"She's become convinced that friends are feeding information to her exes and has cut off some friendships and deleted people from her private social media."
The star also thinks her friends are feeding her exes with information about her life – whether it be who she's seeing and how much time she spends at home, or what she's drinking.
The source went on: "She'd make everyone do a lie detector test if she could, to find out who is loyal.
"She's even suspicious of helicopters flying over her house.
"Katie's always gone with her gut feelings about men in the past, and now she's convinced her exes are plotting against her."
Katie has been married three times – to singer Peter Andre, martial artist Alex Reid and former stripper Kieran Hayler, who she split from earlier this year.
She has come under scrutiny from both Peter and Kieran recently after weeks of wild behaviour, with one night out even seeing her rapping about cocaine in a bar.
It is not the first time Katie has felt threatened, having become victim to several kidnap plots in the past.
Her son Harvey was targeted earlier this year, when an anonymous email claimed to "cut up and slash" her 16-year-old if she didn't give them £50,000.
The previous year she had received a different message demanding the same amount of money and, more bizarrely, an Armani dress.
In 2016, Harvey was at the centre of another terrifying £1 million kidnap plot, before a tracking device was found on her Range Rover.
Speaking on Loose Women Katie said of the incident, which led her to cancel multiple tour dates: "I've been through the ordeal of kidnapping threats a few times before and it is terrifying.
"You can buy all the security you want. I've got panic buttons and everything like that.
"But if something did happen, by the time the police would be able to get to my house, they would have already got me."
The claims only add to Katie's woes, with the star currently battling bankruptcy.
The High Court gave her three months to come up with a plan to pay off her debts in August, after blowing her fortune on plastic surgery, luxury holidays and a £1million farm.
Despite facing debts of almost £500,000 it was recently revealed the 40-year-old has still not put her £1.6million home up for sale.
