What do the stars think of La Casa de Papel ending?

In July, Netflix confirmed Money Heist season five will bring the heist to a final close.

Viewers will be able to find out the fate of all the remaining stars and whether they make it out of the Bank of Spain alive.

The outing has been filming over the past few months across Europe as fans prepare to say goodbye to the show.

So far, not all of the stars of the show have opened up about their thoughts on the end of La Casa de Papel.

However, recently Lisbon actor Itziar Ituño revealed what she thinks about saying goodbye to the show.

Speaking to Spanish publication Vertele, she said: “I think it is a success to close the story of La Casa de Papel there.

“And who knows if in the future it will be reconsidered?

“I am one of those who think that stories have to be just the right length so as not to tire, that it doesn’t turn into gum that stretches until it breaks.

“It’s better to leave people wanting and not feeling embarrassed, but it’s going to give me pain…

“You get used to the place, the history and especially the friendships you make with the team.

“This has been a giant adventure since we started, and I think we are going to cry a lot on the last day of shooting [laughs].

“But hey, you also have to try new things, see what else life offers so as not to get stuck in the same thing. So, to what life brings.”

As well as Ituño, the show’s creator has also revealed his thoughts about the series coming to end.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly when the news was announced, Álex Pina revealed how excited he was to reveal to fans how the series will finish.

He told the publication: “Adrenaline is within Money Heist’s DNA.

“Every thirty seconds things take place and disrupt the characters, a turn of the screw to the action.

“The adrenaline mixed with feelings arising from absolutely complex, magnetic, unforeseeable characters will continue until the end of the heist to the Bank of Spain.

“However, the gang will now be pushed into irreversible situations, into a wild war: it is the most epic part of all the parts we’ve shot.”

An exact release date has not yet been confirmed for the final season.

However, many will be hoping it will be coming out in 2021 if filming can finish.

As soon as anything more is released about the show, will keep viewers updated.
