'LPBW': Amy Roloff Is Talking A Lot About Her Future With Fiancé Chris Marek on Instagram

Little People, Big World has been airing for a decade and a half, and fans can’t wait to see what the Roloffs are up to in 2020. As we saw during Season 14, Matt and Amy Roloff’s lives have changed dramatically since the show first began. While they were married, living on Roloff Farms, and taking care of their four kids together at one point, they’ve since divorced — and Amy recently made a big move off of Roloff Farms and into a new neighborhood.

That’s not the only exciting news for Amy. She’s also engaged to her long-term partner, Chris Marek. While she’s still getting used to some of the major life adjustments she went through at the end of 2019, she’s posting on Instagram about her future plans with Marek. Here’s what she’s saying.

Amy Roloff is already making serious life adjustments as she enters 2020

Hello Saturday! ?. A new house is something both Felix ? and I are adjusting to. Getting to know a smaller backyard, which is nice, living in a neighborhood, that’s pretty cool too, meeting some of the neighbors and working on making the house a home. Furniture being delivered soon, closet being set up and wondering how I want to decorate it. That will be fun. Let’s face it, the farm will always be the farm, no comparison, but a new house in a new neighborhood will have its own adventure and it will take time to get use to it and 2020 will be another interesting year. Felix and I will hopefully be ready ?♥️?♥️?. Life moments and more opportunities to #gather… So anyone else have experience helping a furry friend get adjusted to new surroundings? Any helpful hints/tips? #newhouse #newneighborhood #amyroloffssecondact #rollingin2020 #newadventure #lifechanges #morefuntimesahead

Life wasn’t easy for Amy during Season 14 of LPBW. While she adores Roloff Farms, she knew she had a major decision to make regarding her future on the property. Ultimately, she chose to sell her half of the farm to Matt for over a half-million dollars. And she told her Instagram and Facebook followers that she was on the hunt for the perfect home.

Now, Amy’s moved into her new place, and it’s just 15 minutes away from the farm property. Her house is in a neighborhood and doesn’t boast the same amount of land she had on the farm. But it still has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and 3,767 square feet total.

Living on her own will certainly take some getting used to, however. While she’s planning a life with Marek, she’s the sole owner of the home — and she noted the new place isn’t an easy adjustment. “Let’s face it, the farm will always be the farm, no comparison, but a new house in a new neighborhood will have its own adventure and it will take time to get use to it and 2020 will be another interesting year,” she wrote on Instagram.

Chris Marek proposed to Amy back in September 2019

A new home isn’t all that Amy has to get used to. For more exciting news, she’s also engaged! “I never had a clue or expected it. Chris and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary of dating last Wednesday. And to my wonderful happy surprise he proposed and asked me to marry him!” Amy posted on Instagram on Sept. 25. “I couldn’t believe it! I cried, he had tears and of course I said YES! I’m engaged and couldn’t be happier. I love this man so much.”

Those who’ve been following Amy’s saga with Marek are incredibly happy for her. At one point, Amy thought she’d never remarry again — and even her kids weren’t thrilled with Marek once he appeared to be a permanent staple in the family. Now, however, everyone’s on board with Amy’s future with Marek, and even Matt appears happy for his ex-wife despite past conflicts.

Amy’s talking a lot about their future together on Instagram

From the move to other life stressors, Amy’s followers haven’t heard too much about her future plans with Marek. All of that is changing now, however. On New Year’s Day, Amy posted a sweet photo of her and Marek holding champagne flutes — and she included a sweet caption about their future.

“What changed my life in 2019? Was when Chris asked me to marry him. I couldn’t be happier in my second act! and looking forward to what 2020 may bring,” she wrote.

On Jan. 5, Amy mentioned her future with Marek once again. “I know we’re already 4 days into the new year but… this weekend is when I put the decorations away, remember some of the amazing time and cherish the moments I had to gather… with Chris, my family and kids and get ready to continue to be my best in pursuing the goals I’ve made for 2020,” she wrote. Amy then added that she’s excited for “some travel” and “adventures” with “my man Chris.”

We’re not exactly sure what Amy and Marek have planned for 2020, but we’re hoping we’ll hear about some wedding plans, all of their travel destinations, and whatever else might be in store. With LPBW returning this year as well, we’re sure to get plenty of insider insights!
